Moore reef pontoon is located on the outer edge of the Great barrier reef, approximately 40km from Cairns. The day at the pontoon, Sunlover cruises offer you various activities.
Just around 40km from Cairns, fast and air-conditioned catamaran will take you to the floating plaftorm "pontoon" located at pristine Moore Reef on the Great Barrier Reef. After arrival at pontoon, enjoy snorkelling, theme park style waterslide, glass bottom boat, semi-submersible coral reef viewing boat, an underwater observatory, marine life touch tank, and optional extras including scuba diving, guided snorkeling safari and Seawalker Helmet Diving!

Where does the boat leave from?
The boat leaves from the Reef Fleet Terminal located a 1 Spence Street Cairns, opposite Shangri-la Hotel. Is there a locker on the reef?There are coin-lockers available in the Catamaran only.Are there toilets and change rooms on the reef?There are toilets located on board. Fresh water rinse showers and change rooms are available on the Sunlover pontoon.Are there allocated seats on the boat?Seats are not allocated, however there is plenty of room and seating in the Catamaran, with 3 levels including indoor and outdoor seating.Will I get sea-sick?Catamaran to the outer reef is very large and stable, however some people if you are concerned then sea-sickness tablets are available at the terminal and also on board the boat. Ginger tablets are also available on board (free of charge)What if I can’t swim?There are many options for people who cannot swim.
