Enjoy the afternoon tour to visit Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, and Mount Coot-tha Lookout.
At the world’s first (open since 1927) and largest koala sanctuary, cuddle the gorgeous marsupial mammals and get close to 95 species of native Australian wildlife. See koalas, kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, wombats, echidnas, reptiles and the only platypus in captivity. This is one of the few venues in the world where you can hold a koala (own cost). There are daily free shows and you can feed kangaroos (some with a joey in the pouch) and meet colourful Australian lorikeets and cockatoos.
The tour will then take you to Mount Coot-tha Lookout, he peak at 287 metres above sea level for views of the Brisbane CBD and lush bushland around the city. The television and radio towers are erected on Mt Coot-tha and we will pass the Brisbane Botanic Gardens and Planetarium. Time to visit the sky-high cafeteria for afternoon tea or an icecream.
